American Axes will host a WATL Local Tournament at our Edgewater, Colorado location the weekend of July 18 – July 20, 2025.
Our venue will host tournament matches and we have an assortment of additional events that we would love to host throwers for practice, marathons, cash tournaments and a great time! Come check out our venue, located in one of the hottest hubs in Denver, Colorado. Minutes from downtown and in the beautiful setting of Sloan’s Lake. The market we call home boasts the #1 Food Hall in Denver for the last 2 years as well as a brewery and full-service bar.
Thursday, 7/17 - Practice lanes available 4p-10p
Friday, 7/18 - Doors open at 10am, Hatchet Marathon at 12pm. Practice lanes available after the conclusion of the marathon.
Saturday, 7/19 - Doors open at 9am. Hatchet Tournament begins at 10am (capped at 24 throwers). 3pm Hatchet Duals Marathon. Practice lanes available after the conclusion of the marathon.
Sunday, 7/20 - Doors open at 9am. Big Axe Tournament begins at 10am (18 thrower cap). Hatchet Duals Tournament begins at or around 12:30pm. At or around 3pm, we will have a 15ft Hatchet Duals tournament - this is not a Sanctioned WATL event, just something fun that we have wanted to try.
Payout structure for tournaments:
30% to the winner
15% to 2nd
5% to 3rd
On top of prize winnings, entry fees waived for finishing 1-2-3-4
