Rules:
1. HAVE FUN!!
2. You can register up to the day of the event - last minute submissions welcome!
3. Free to register
4. Contestants must provide a 6 qt. crock pot, or similar, for sampling as well as serving utensils
5. NO store-bought chili allowed for competitors
5b. Kiwanis will provide power outlets, bowls, utensils, corn bread, and toppings (cheese, onion, etc.)
5c. Contestants are welcome to provide any other sides, toppings, etc. they wish
6. Please label chili as mild, medium, spicy
7. Remember that this is a friendly competition; please be courteous and fair. This contest is for fun and to support a good cause
8. Those purchasing a sampling package will have the option to vote
9. Counting of votes and announcement of winners at Ravens Half Time
Rules for others
· $8 for a single bowl of chili
· $10 for a sampling package and a voting ticket
· Beer/wine/liquor available for purchase
Prizes
· 1st Place: $100
· 2nd Place: $50
· 3rd Place: Honorable Mention
· All other proceeds go to Kiwanis - you will be provided the option to elect whether your contribution goes toward our building/maintenance fund or our charitable contribution fund
