Trail work from 9AM-noon, followed by pizza and a ride/hike!About this EventSunday, October 25, 2026, 9AM–noonJoin Six Rivers NEMBA, Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust, and Schmid Preserve for a community trail day at the Piontkowski Middle Road property and Schmid Preserve in Edgecomb, Maine. Volunteers will help build two new loops and improve existing trail connections, including the Piontkowski/Schmid Preserve connector trail. All experience levels are welcome—come lend a hand, meet fellow trail enthusiasts, and help expand the local trail network.Planned Work· Clear and rake new trail corridors· Lop branches and brush· Help shape two new loops· Improve existing trail connectors, including the Piontkowski/Schmid Preserve connector trailWhat to BringSome tools will be provided, and volunteers are welcome to bring their own hand tools such as rakes, loppers, and hand saws. Please do not bring chainsaws. Wear sturdy footwear, work gloves, and clothing appropriate for the weather and trail conditions.After the Work DayPizza will be provided at noon at both locations after the work is complete.Piontkowski: Bring your bike if you would like to ride to the work site or join a group ride after the work is finished.
