From Land to Sea is a cinematic fine art photography and projection series that began with the Kuku Yalanji people of North Queensland, Australia. Through powerful black-and-white imagery and immersive visual storytelling, this Australian chapter captures the deep connection between land, sea, and culture – celebrating stories that are alive, enduring, and deeply human.
Part of a growing international series, From Land to Sea honours First Nations and adapted cultures around the world – communities whose identity, spirit, and way of life are shaped by their environment. Each chapter is created in collaboration with local custodians, exploring the relationship between people and place through a cinematic lens. From Australia to Asia, the Americas, and Africa, From Land to Sea unites cultures through a shared reverence for land, sea, and story.
