The Scrappers Village introduces a new and beautiful initiative for Women’s Month - August 2025. Empowering women through mindful creativity and expressive art journaling within a space that is safe and intentional.
"She Creates" – A Mindful Art Journalling Experience themed
“ART from my Heart”
A mindful, self-discovery journey using art as a reflective tool. Facilitated by a counselling psychologist, the sessions focus on mindfulness, emotional awareness, introspection and creative expression, without being prescriptive. (Please note: This workshop is not therapy and does not replace psychological treatment. Participants should consult their own healthcare providers with any mental health concerns.)
These workshops focus on “mindfulness” as a creative practice, developing skills that may promote self-awareness and greater well-being.
Workshop Themes:
1. Rooted – Exploring identity and grounding through art-inspired creations
2. Resilient – Visual collage storytelling of personal strength and weakness, exploring ‘stuckness’, growth and transformation
3. Radiant – Celebrating self-worth and inner flow, stepping out of our ‘comfort zones’ and intentional growth.
This Women's Month, we invite you to reconnect with your inner voice through mindful art journaling. Join us to celebrate feminine creativity and resilience. We aim to provide a safe-space sanctuary for self-expression, reflection and empowerment—no art experience needed, just an open heart.
