1. The 61 Mech Veterans from Gauteng East will host a skouerskuur at the Dickie Fritz shell hole of the Moth at 115 Dickie Fritz Avenue, Dowerglen, Edenvale, 1609 on Saturday 29 November 2025 from 12h00 until 15h00. All are welcome, even if you did not serve with Battle Group Juliet or 61 Mech Battalion.2.
2. We treasure our relationship with the Moth, and thank them for allowing us to use their venue for our skouerskuur.

We as the 61 Mech Veterans (full and associate members) in Gauteng have a very important role to play with our annual memorial service in August with filling the parade platoon, helping with setting out the chairs, etc as well as other activities like assisting with the 61 Mech museum at the War Museum.
9. Your participation in Gauteng is essential to the longevity of our association.
