- **Event Description**: his year's Ghoul Dheys theme is: "Come Not As You Are, But As You Are Not!" Now is the perfect time to unleash your creativity and arrive not as your own persona, but as someone you've always wished to be. Come dressed as an SCA legend—or perhaps a figure of infamous renown! Maybe you've secretly longed to be a hero or villain from history or medieval legend: Erik the Viking, Robin Hood, Queen Guinevere, or even Maleficent in her magnificent headdress, just to name a few possibilities. A prize will be awarded to the participant whose identity is correctly guessed by the most attendees, so make your portrayal memorable!
Come celebrate the harvest season and enjoy a day filled with fun and fellowship. The ever-popular gourd and pumpkin carving contest will return, along with new and exciting heavy weapons and rapier combat scenarios. A fashion show will showcase the creativity of our populace.  Unique activities, surprises, and merriment await throughout the day.

As evening falls, gather with friends and fellow revelers for a grand Court Feast with bardic opportunities where stories will be told, songs will be sung, and the accomplishments of the populace will be celebrated. This feast will be a potluck affair, with the Shire graciously providing the main protein dish while attendees are invited to contribute their favorite side dishes, breads, desserts, and other culinary creations to share. Raise a cup, share a tale, and enjoy the bounty of the harvest in the warmth of good company as we celebrate together in true medieval fashion.
So enjoy these last warm days of summer, for when the season turns and autumn's shadows lengthen, Gool Dheys will make its wonderful return!

Location: Anderson Campground, 1188 East 990 S.  Eden, ID 83325
Directions: Take your best route to Interstate 84 toward Twin Falls, ID and take exit 182 at Kimberly/Eden. Turn North on Idaho 50 (AWAY from the Shell station/truck stop). From ID 50, take the first right onto Tipperary Road (the frontage road), and follow it east for 1/2 mile. Pass Extreme Motorsports and RV on the left and the campground is just beyond on the left. Watch for the SCA signs. Note: Double check GPS directions - Exit 182 is by far the quickest and easiest route.

Site specifics: This is a discreetly wet site. The site has plenty of shade and animals are welcomed but are to be leashed at all times and cleaned up after. There are bathrooms with handicap accessibility both within the campgrounds and in the main hall. There will be a firepit behind the main hall for bardic and general enjoyment.

There are hotels in the area as well as on-site tent, cabin, and RV options. Discounts available for AARP, Triple A and Veterans. 

Rentals pricing per night as follows:

RV:  30 amp $57 ($51 with discount); 50 amp $62 ($55 with discount)
Tent:  $34.50 ($31 with discount)
Cabins:  1 bedroom basic (1-4 people) $60 ($54 with discount); 1 bedroom premium (1-4 people) $80 ($72 with discount); 2 bedroom (1-6 people) $80 ($72 with discount).
