Time pressure, anxiety, overthinking and fear of failure can block clear thinking, especially in Year 11. This 6 week programme is designed for capable students who find exams emotionally and cognitively challenging and would like a clearer understanding of the mark scheme and how to gain valuable marks in both English Language and Literature.

Led by an experienced English teacher and AQA examiner and a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, the programme combines:

✅ Exam insight (what examiners really look for)
✅ Practical strategies for anxiety and focus
✅ Skills to improve clarity, confidence and performance

This is a psycho-educational programme — not therapy, not extra English tuition, and students are never required to share personal information.

The aim is simple: calmer thinking, clearer responses, and more confident GCSE English exams.
