- **Event Description**: Given the overwhelming reaction to the both our posts about the Bondi tragedy; it seems there are many of us sharing the same sentiments in wanting to show solidarity, love, kindness & compassion.

We would like to invite the community to join us on Sunday 21st of December 2025 (4pm onwards) which marks one week from this very dark day in our country. At 4.30pm we plan to have a moment of silence to reflect & pay respects to the innocent lives that were tragically taken.

We would like to make it very clear that this is NOT a gathering to discuss and/or blame race, religion or politics.. It is to show kindness, love & support for ALL Australians - especially the Australian Jewish community who were targeted in this senseless act.

We will kindly ask that you do not bring any flags of any nation or any other patriotic items. This is a gathering for those who also want to share kindness, love, compassion & empathy. There is no room for hate in this world.

We will attempt to reach out to some local vendors to ask if they would like to attend so there may be some food & or drinks available (due to short notice of the event & the busy time of year - we cannot guarantee anything) so we ask that you please BYO some water and don’t forget a chair/picnic rug.
