Meet Gaby — just 30 years old, yet the heartbeat of her little family. She’s a loving partner to Mitch, and the proud, playful mum of two beautiful boys, Travis (4) and Jackson (2).
If you know Gaby, you know she lights up every room she walks into. She’s the mum with the biggest laugh, the one cheering loudest, the one covered in toys and muddy hugs by lunchtime. She’s the glue that holds her family together, the spark that makes even ordinary days feel magical.
Her world revolves around her boys — her “little truckies” — and every ounce of her heart belongs to them.
Nine Months of a Hidden Battle
Since March, Gaby has been fighting a battle no young mum should ever have to face — Stage 4 Melanoma.
For nine long months, between hospital visits, treatments, and sleepless nights, she has shown up every single day for her family — brave, smiling, and full of love. She’s kept life as normal as she could, hiding her pain behind her trademark grin, and holding tightly to hope.
But on Friday, Gaby and Mitch received the news no family should ever have to hear. The treatments aren’t working.
The cancer is now terminal. Doctors have given her a heartbreaking prognosis — six months to two years.
In that single moment, the fight for a cure became a fight for time — time to love, time to live, time to make memories that will last forever.
A New Battle: Hope, Love, and the Power of Now
Gaby and Mitch are not giving up.
They are still fighting for a miracle.
But they also know that the most precious thing now isn’t found in hospitals or treatments — it’s found in moments. The small, sacred, ordinary moments that make a family.
