Bill Frisell has been leading a career as a guitarist and composer for over 40 years. His recordings have received critical acclaim and were described by DownBeat as “the best recordings of the decade.” In recent years, Frisell has developed a fruitful and unique collaboration with the Blue Note label, successfully releasing the albums Harmony, Valentine, and Four.

The Bill Frisell Trio, featuring bassist Thomas Morgan and drummer Rudy Royston, is so versatile that Bill can follow them anywhere in the most spontaneous way. They master Frisell’s rich body of work as well as the popular songs, folk tunes, and standards that he loves to perform. The trio’s approach is interactive, conversational, and always ready to groove, resulting in fresh and surprising performances at every stop.
