Junior Development Class (NEW!)
We’re stoked to launch the Junior Development Class — giving 14- and 15-year-olds the chance to safely learn the ropes and experience the burnout scene firsthand!
How It Works:
- Ages 14 & 15 are eligible to enter.
- A parent must be present at the event from start to finish — no exceptions.
- The parent must sign the entrant in personally at driver sign-on.
- The junior must be listed as a dependent on the parent’s Medicare card.
- The junior must provide valid ID (school ID or birth certificate + parents' Medicare card). No proof of age, no skids.
- Only the parent can and must ride passenger — no mates, and no solo skids until age 16.
- The parent is responsible for the junior entrant’s behaviour at all times — including on the pad.
- All standard event rules apply.
💲 Junior Entry Fee: $110
Includes both the junior entry and the $10 passenger fee for the parent.
Both will receive wristbands at sign-on to confirm the parent is riding in the car when it’s time to hit the pad.
⚠️ Note: The parent must still purchase a spectator entry ticket (online or at the gate) in addition to the junior entry.
Licensing Requirements
All entrants must hold an AASA “General Speed” Licence (annual or day).

🚗 Vehicle Requirements
NEW RULES - READ CAREFULLY
1. Tow points – COMPULSORY
All vehicles must have a front tow strap or tow point securely bolted and easily accessible. No strap = no skid.
2. No Guaranteed Number of Burnouts
How many burnouts each entrant gets depends on recoveries and pad conditions. Our staff will always work to get everyone through as many runs as possible within the time limit. Work with us, help make our job easier and it means more pad time for you.
3. No Panel-Damaged Cars
Vehicles showing accident damage will not be permitted — safety and insurance requirements.
4. Windscreens Must Be Crack-Free
Stone chips are fine, but any cracks = no skid until repaired.
5. Tyre Clearance
Your car must roll freely with tyres popped. If you get hung up after your first skid and spares are the same size, that’s your night done.
6. Pit Conduct & Red Light Rule
No limiter bashing, no stupidity, and no ignoring marshals once you are back in the pits.
Breaching this earns an instant 6-month ban from QR, Hi-Octane, and AASA events.
7. Carport Fee – $20
Covers cleaning and consumables. Cars without a paid carport sticker must vacate.
Leave your space clean — or lose future booking privileges.
