The seminar will run from 10am to 2pm and will be held at Unit 4, Noble Square Industrial Estate, Brynnmawr, Gwent, NP23 4BS. The cost will be £35 per person. The theme of the seminar will be Chinto / Gankaku / Jindo applications and drills. The kata is said to be a record of the methods of a Chinese sailor who became shipwrecked on the island of Okinawa. The kata contains escapes, locks, close-range strikes, throws, limb-control, strangles, etc. The kata has also had an influence on the Pinan / Heian / Pyung Ahn series; which will also be discussed.
