Rory Scovel is an actor, comedian, and writer. His latest comedy special RORY SCOVEL: RELIGION, SEX, AND A FEW THINGS IN BETWEEN can currently be streamed on Max.
Scovel most recently appeared alongside Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell in the Amazon romantic comedy YOU’RE CORDIALLY INVITED and in the ensemble dark comedy NO GOOD DEED at Netflix.
Additional acting credits include Paramount’s BABYLON directed by Damien Chazelle, which garnered the cast a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture; Voltage Pictures’ I FEEL PRETTY opposite Amy Schumer; Netflix’s OLD DADS alongside Bill Burr, Bobby
Cannavale, and Bokeem Woodbine; New Line’s THE HOUSE alongside Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler; THE LEGACY OF A WHITETAIL DEER HUNTER alongside Danny McBride and Josh Brolin; Demetri Martin’s directorial debut DEAN which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
On the small screen, he starred in the Apple TV+ series PHYSICAL opposite Rose Byrne which ran for three seasons; and can be seen in season two of Peacock’s BASED ON A TRUE STORY. Additional TV credits include ROBBIE on Comedy Central; NBC’s SUPERSTORE and UNDATEABLE; ABC’s MODERN FAMILY; FX’s THE COMEDIANS; TBS’s GROUND FLOOR and WRECKED; the TruTv series THOSE
WHO CAN’T; and he lent his voice to the DC/Max original series KITE MAN: HELL YEAH!
Rory’s stand up has been featured on Comedy Central, CONAN, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. His second album, RORY SCOVEL LIVE AT THIRD MAN RECORDS, was released in 2013 and was recorded live at their studios in Nashville. In 2015 he released RORY SCOVEL: THE CHARLESTON SPECIAL, followed by his Netflix special RORY SCOVEL TRIES STAND-UP FOR THE FIRST TIME in 2017.

The Plus is a full service bar and restaurant. Food and drink will be available at the show. Seating is first come, first serve.
All advanced tickets are will-call, e-ticket, or print-at-home. No physical tickets will be delivered for the performance. When you buy in advance, your name will appear on a list at the door to assure your entry.
The doors open for this show as soon as the earlier show is over and the room is clear. We will open the doors as close to 9:30 as possible. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 9:30pm for this show to enable exit for the early show to go as smoothly as possible.
Online sales close at 6pm the day of the show. If you miss the window for online sales - the show is not - we repeat - not sold out unless there is a separate announcement indicating so. Please do not call the restaurant. Must be present after 6pm to buy tickets for this show.
No photos or video recording are allowed during the performance.
The Plus and Clear Water Comedy reserve the right to refuse service or deny entry for anyone engaging in disruptive or disrespectful behavior. No talking, heckling, texting, or other distracting behavior is permitted. If this occurs and you are asked to leave the show, there will be no refunds.
