Krismas Kookies feature original music in four-part harmony with a light-hearted and humorous look at the holiday season and winter in Wisconsin. Warren Hermodson, a local song writer, has written a number of songs about holiday themes. Comical, sometimes sentimental, but always entertaining, this five-piece group of local retired educators will perform several songs from their new CD, A Second Helping of Krismas Kookies, which includes several songs from their first CD and a few new tunes as well. Join Warren Hermodson, Bill Simon, Ken Rogers, Pat McGinnis, and Brad Stoughton as they laugh, sing, and play their way through all original tunes about family get-togethers, shopping, Santa, and more. Greet your holiday season with a smile. Additional themes to be presented range from Santa's reindeer that cause more problems than they solve, grandparents' activities when the sun goes down, "unique" presents from grandma, to a the unending stream of various holiday decorations. One favorite is a husband who is shopping on Christmas Eve and happens in to a lingerie store and is not prepared for the results. Music will vary from folk music, to folk rock, blues, mariachi, jazz, and even a Russian drinking song! Something for everyone who loves the Holiday season and those that have other mixed feelings about Santa, elves and holiday "traditions." Guitars! Keyboards! Trumpet! Banjo! Balalaika!
