*About Belmira's Bounty*
It’s the golden age of pirates! For the last 5 centuries, piracy has ruled the seas and made it nigh impossible to establish permanent trade routes between nations. As consequence, each nation was forced to hire trader privateers. A delicate dance plays out across the seas as each nation’s specialty helps them tip the scales in their favor. Even Belmira, the Goddess of the seas, participates in the fun. Only the most cutthroat sailors can make money on these waters and live to tell the tale!
At its core, the game is about sailing a ship around a player-built map and earning as many gold pieces as possible before hurricane season ruins the fun. Players compete against each other to gather cargo and deliver it to islands to get paid. Alternatively, they can attack each other to try and steal their gold directly. Players can spend gold on ship upgrades and collect powerful Artifacts to help them along the way, but in the end, the player with the most gold pieces remaining is the winner.
Game Mechanisms-
-Dice roll manipulation
-Asymmetrical player factions
-A little bit of worker placement
-Multiple paths to victory
Ideal Number of players wanted: 4
Estimated complexity: 4/10
