- **Event Description**: We are excited to announce the Reeling in the Rubbish tournament hosted by the VHS Bass Anglers and HCSBAT. Presented by the sponsors listed below. This event will happen on April 18 at Lake Sinclair.
This event is designed to:
•	Celebrate the partnership between student anglers and their Boat Captains
•	Support our local environment through shoreline clean-up
•	Promote teamwork, service, and competition
Over the past three years, participating teams have removed 1,800 lbs. of trash from our waterways — and we look forward to this season adding to that total!
Event Benefits
•	Free entry — weigh-in trash in place of a tournament fee
•	Guided trips, tackle, gift cards, and apparel in prize packages to winning anglers
•	Practice opportunity on the future site of the 2026 GHSA State Championship
•	Service project credit for team programs
•	Chance for anglers to compete alongside their Boat Captains
Key Requirements
•	All student participants must be members of a school fishing team or club
•	Coaches must register participating anglers for this event. 
Registration
•	Registration opens February 9 and closes 11:59 pm on April 13. 
•	Space is limited to 60 boats.
