Meeting was tabled by the proposed quarry developers in March 2026 after planning for approximately a year and a half as they were losing their narrative.  Opposed citizens had just over a month but coming together we were ready.  They are banking on you being out of town, distracted by fireworks, or busy with family for the 250th Anniversary of America which is why they asked to have this reconvene at the July 2nd meeting. They’re hoping for an empty room so they can greenlight the rezoning without a fight. 

We need a packed house to show our community is not for sale.  "In 1776, the fight was about the right to be heard. On July 2nd, we exercise that right." Bring your family out and take a stand.  Remember, "we do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children."
