Visit a black walnut plantation established over 40 years ago and take a wagon ride to the "back 40" where black walnut trees are naturally regenerating. The afternoon will end with a walk through lumber inventory and species identification by Savannah Ballweg. Most travel will be by wagon, but plan to do a little walking along the way.
