Rebellious Color: An Exhibition by Michael Surber

Preble Arts is proud to present Rebellious Colors, a solo exhibition by local artist, Michael Surber, opening on Thursday, July 11th at 6:00 PM. Surber invites viewers to step beyond the ordinary and into a vibrant world where color becomes both language and liberation.

In his artist statement, Surber reflects: “Dreaming in color is a rebellion against monotony… a celebration of extraordinary.” This bold collection explores the limitless nature of imagination and the emotional force of color, offering a dynamic journey through the artist’s vision. Join us as we celebrate a body of work that challenges gray expectations and dares to dream in vivid, expressive hues.
