- **Event Description**: We’re excited to officially kick things back off with a community open house for the West Ward Drumline!

This is a brand new restart for the program, and we’re welcoming ALL ages and ALL skill levels — whether your child has years of experience or has never touched a drum before — and it is completely FREE to participate!

The evening will begin with a beginner-friendly drum lesson, where kids can learn the basics, try out the drums, and get comfortable playing together. Drums will be provided!

After rehearsal, we’ll march together to Centennial Park (weather permitting) for a short community performance where the kids can show off a few beats and have some fun representing the neighborhood.

Following the performance, we’ll have snacks and drinks for the kids before marching back to the community center together.

Our goal is to build something positive, welcoming, and exciting for the community — and we’d love for your family to be part of it as we grow!
