Sometimes the smallest everyday items can make the biggest difference during someone’s hardest season. Our J29 Crisis Room was created to provide immediate support to individuals and families facing crisis situations across our community. Over the past few months alone, we have helped families displaced by house fires, individuals escaping unsafe situations, families experiencing homelessness, and community members navigating unexpected hardships who simply needed a little support to get through a difficult season. When tragedy or crisis happens, people often lose more than just belongings. They lose stability, comfort, and a sense of normalcy. Our goal is to respond quickly with dignity, compassion, and practical support during those moments. As part of our Ribbon Cutting & Van Reveal Celebration, we would love for attendees to consider bringing an item to help us stock the van and refill our crisis room shelves for families in need across the Shore.
