But what was it about this little city, nestled at the banks of two major rivers, that allowed it to become both a gathering place and a gateway - a city of contradictions?Based on newspaper accounts, first-person interviews, and photos and documents from the NCHGS archives, join us to visit the sites of some of the most notorious brothels, breweries, and back-alley speakeasies in Easton's unforgettable history."From Spirits to Speakeasies" is offered on the fourth Friday of every month. Tickets are $20.00 per person. Tours last approximately 2 hours. Please be advised that the walking route does include minor hills and crossing major intersections.
