Join the Shanty Sessions every Monday from 8 to 9 pm for a relaxed, fun hour of sea shanty singing.

Everyone’s welcome – all genders, all voices. No auditions, no experience needed – just come along and join in! Over 18s only.
We sing a lively mix of traditional and not-so-traditional shanties. There’s no pressure to perform – we’re all about singing for the joy of it.

The sessions are led by the Steam Town Shanty Crew. Printed lyric sheets for all songs are provided and dyslexia-friendly versions are available if needed.

Sessions are just £5 (cash). It’s totally pay-as-you-go – no sign-up, no commitment, just good vibes and hearty singing and your first session is Free!
