About Threepenny Bit: Hampshire-based Threepenny Bit use traditional dance music as the jumping-off point for their adventures in sound, with the eight members' patchwork of influences sewn into the lining of every tune. Their bold arrangements move between light and shade, intimacy and bombast, but always with compelling rhythm and harmony at the core. No idea is off limits as long as it catches the ear and animates the feet.

Mary Panton is a well-known caller on the English Ceilidh scene. With an exciting mix of dances and a clear instruction style, she will be sure to guide you through the dances for a fun evening.

Beginners and experienced dancers all welcome!

The dances will be held at The Hilt (Cuckoo Bushes Hall), SO53 5NP. It has a sprung oak floor, and plenty of parking; and it's only five minutes from J12 off the M3, near Winchester.

Doors open at 19:15 for a 19:30 start.  Dances finish at 23:00.
There's no bar, so please bring your own drinks.
