Telephone: The Quilt Game at the Library Annex

An experimental quilting using the principles of the dadaist drawing technique: the exquisite corpse.

The aim of this approach will be to inspire each other to create an intuitive work by reacting to what is immediately given to us.

Similar to a game of telephone, this workshop will consist of timed rounds: sew a quilt block, pass it to the next quilter. Each round the quilter must piece a quilt block connecting to the block before it. At the end of 6 rounds each participant will have a row of 6 blocks to take home: a collaborative catalyst for your next quilt! Bring your own sewing machine.
