# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Start Playtesting Elementus at the Cat!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 04 Nov, 2026 at 07:00 pm (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: Hey folks, this week we have something special! Local designer Max Weihrauch is bringing their in-process design Elementus for a play test!

Elementus is a complex engine building game set in a magic steampunk world. You are playing as one of four schools of invention trying to help your students and staff claim patents which earns prestige.

I'm super excited to see this one on the table and hope y'all do your usual thing where you, um... break it :-)

So come on out and try out something new, then play some other games with great people. Maybe have a beverage, too! See you Wednesday!
