Hello everybody, well its been a busy month in the lead up to December and now its getting really busy for us, we have lots of Nursing and Care Homes we visit each month and its wonderful to watch people with Dementia of various kinds, perk up when they hear a tune that means something to them. We always know when we have picked the right tunes as they like to sing along or just tap their feet. Its really great to offer them something they can enjoy and join in with.
We are also busy with other events, we have a show at the Oval Football Club on the 20th December called Christmas Sparkle Party, and you can be sure Linsey and me will be dressed in all our glittery finery.
If your free do come along as Mick Sweetman our local Country & Western hero will be singing as will Rocking Mike, who sings the best rock and roll music. Entry is free with any donations and funds raised going to The Motor Neurones Disease Charity. earlier in the day Linsey and me will be singing in Grove Road from 2.pm. On the 21st December, Linsey and me will be singing at the Polegate Windmill from 11.30 in the morning helping to raise funds for this important local historical building.
You can also catch us on the 13th December out at the Hailsham Christmas Market from 10 - 12pm so if your out shopping for Christmas presents, pop along and have a boogie with us, later that evening we will be singing at the Wannock Hall in Wannock for a private function.
On the 11th December Lynsey and me will be singing at the Enterprise Centre from 6 - 7.30, again if your out shopping pop along and make yourself known and say hello as it really makes our day
