- **Event Description**: The Tough Truck Challenge is going to consist of 4 courses that will be driven 2 times for an overall score. You can also just run for fun but the rules and requirements should be easy to follow so hopefully most people will try to keep score.

Courses and Rules

1: Crawling (10 gates + optional bonus)
+1 for hitting a gate
+1 for winching 
+1 for repositioning your vehicle (no advancing forward)
+2 for skipping a numbered gate
-1 for bonus gates (double arrows. No penalty for trying them)
No time limit but try to keep it moving and limit your attempts. 
Replace markers over the tape if you move them. 
Maximum 15 points

2: Timed Sand Course
+1 point every 5 seconds
+2 for skipping a gate
No penalty for repositioning (no advancing forward)
Maximum 15 points

3: Timed Rock Course
+1 point every 5 seconds
+2 for skipping a gate
No penalty for repositioning (no advancing forward)
Maximum 15 points

4: Hill Climb
There will be numbered markers on the hill. The further you make it, the lower the score. Once uphill forward progress stops, your runs ends there and you get the score on the marker you passed. No winching. 


No help from other drivers on any course.

Courses must be run as a loop, not back to back. You can run both classes and run those vehicles back to back.

There won’t be any judges watching your runs. Please drive with someone who will score you or ask for help. If you score yourself, keep it honest. 

Everyone must sign in and pay at the MTB kiosk at the bottom of the hill unless you have already paid for a yearly membership. $10 a day or $25 for the year. 

At $1 (or more) donation is suggested at the sign up table where score cards will be. 

Drivers meeting at 10 followed by the start. 1:00 cutoff if you want to be sure you get put in the results but courses will be left up longer.
