Gretchen Fields is the latest project of Gracie Folds, a now PVD-local indie alt-country band known for poetic storytelling and Gracie's quietly powerful voice. Louis Folds's instrumentation creates a habitat for story-driven songcraft with his dynamic drumming and indie-rock sensibilities. After touring across the country, Gracie Folds took almost ten years off from sharing her music. Now coming out of hibernation, Gretchen Fields's sound feels both timeless and fresh, rooted in honesty and shaped by a fearless commitment to truth.
