- **Event Description**: You are invited to try Shamanic Kundalini Fusion.  This class combines 2 practices.

The Elements – Earth, Air, Wind, Water, Metal, Wood – have asked me to share the shamanic practice of connecting with an Element in my yoga classes. We dance in an altered state of consciousness with the help of a drum beat and receive personalized intuitive messages. Trust me when I say, “The drum does work!”

The Kundalini part of the class is the majority of the time we will spend together. You’ll learn mantras and mudras. There is breathwork, meditation, movement, poses and relaxation. I love singing the mantras and doing the breathwork- it really gets me out of my head!

Some days I will mix in Yin yoga (holding few poses for longer), energy medicine (from Donna Eden’s book, Energy Medicine: Balancing Your Body's Energies for Optimal Health, Joy, and Vitality Updated and Expanded). I also work with moving energy in our chakras and meridians.

Please bring a yoga mat and your favorite yoga props- for example- blocks, bolsters, blanket, support for wrists/knees, strap or towel. I like to say, “Bring whatever props you need to bring the floor within your reach.” Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a journal and something to write with.

About the space… Connie at Connie’s Clay of Fundy, an on-your-honor-system handmade pottery studio, has lovingly opened her home to us! Class takes place in the living room. The space has big windows and overlooks the East Machias River.  There is room for about 5 mats. I warm up the room enough so we can be barefoot (75 degrees Fahrenheit or 23 degrees Celsius). You’ll want to enter the door at the top or the ramp, but don’t use the ramp, because it is SLIPPERY and Dangerous!  Once you come in turn left and take about 5 steps. You’ll find us pretty easy after that!

All levels welcome!  Pay what you can!

Suggested energy exchange is $25. Cash is preferred. Check, Venmo and PayPal are accepted methods of sending $ with Love from Overflow. Let me know what works for you!
