- **Event Description**: A special Book Drive will be held May 30-June 1 in memory of the literary fans who are no longer with us, including Makenna Morse, aka Ms. Morse, who was an inspirational English language arts teacher in Eaton Rapids. She was tragically killed in a car crash on April 21, 2024.

To continue her story, and that of other book lovers, her family is collecting book donations for Little Free Libraries across Michigan. To date, 1,532 books have been collected and donated to over 200 Little Free Libraries through Makenna's Books.

You can bring a new or gently-loved book to donate at J. Jill in Eastwood Towne Center May 30-June 1 and be entered to win a $25 gift card from J. Jill!

An option to label donated books with a custom memorial sticker honoring your loved one will be available.
