- **Event Description**: Fiction 440, Lansing’s home for flash fiction story writing.  The next event will be held Tuesday June 23rd.  The event will be held at Jimmy’s Pub 16830 Chandler Rd in East Lansing.  We had talked about meeting at Zoobies Bar for June, but we will hopefully reschedule Zoobies for the next event. 

If you are not familiar with Fiction 440 it is a gathering of short fiction writers.  Usually there are 3 words supplied that are writing prompts and must be included in the text.  The words for June are Brain, Five and Walk, carefully selected by a Random Word Generator.  As the Fiction 440 name implies the stories should be fiction and not contain more than 440 words.  They should be complete stories and not be poetry.  There is no judging, so just come share a story, relax and enjoy.

If you don’t choose to write a storie, but do like to listen to stories, you are welcome to come.  People begin to arrive at 5:30 for a chance to get something to eat, something to drink, and a chance to socialize.  Stories begin at 6:30.
