Debbie Anne King
One of Scotland and Northern England’s leading Soul & Motown performers, Debbie is known for electrifying live Motown and soul performances.
Following an accidental debut at the London Palladium, Debbie has enjoyed a varied professional performing career spanning over 30 years across clubland, theatre and pantomime. She also held a residency with the Elite London Showboat and was honoured to perform as part of the Millennium Thames celebrations in front of Queen Elizabeth II.
Former female lead vocalist of Soultown & Soultown USA, Soultrain and Motown Magic, Four years as “the Lady Platter” with The Magic Platters, working alongside Hall of Fame legend John Cheatdom and more recently enjoyed the privilege of working with Scottish singing legend Christian on their Tracks of My Years show. She also has her own solo Queen of Motown & Soultown show and King & Queen of Soultown.
She’s thrilled to be performing with another tremendous iconic singer in Steve on Last Dance Soultown…

Winner of The X Factor with a record-breaking six million public votes, a number one single with “Against all Odds” and number one album, Steve is one of the UK’s most respected and recognisable soul voices.
He has duetted with BeBe Winans, Maxi Priest, and Jazz Award winners Ian Shaw and Lianne Carroll.
Since winning the show, Steve has completed three UK tours — including a sell-out arena run and two successful theatre tours — released three studio albums and his autobiography Getting Over the X.
His latest EP Bridge to Philly was released in January 2026, with details of a forthcoming national tour due to be announced soon…

Sound and production are led by Dave Thomson, who trained in sound under Alan Parsons — famed for his work with The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Al Stewart and The Alan Parsons Project — and also receives regular guidance from Ken Newman, a close personal friend & mentor who also happens to be long time sound engineer to the one and only Mr Barry Manilow.
Widely recognised on the circuit as one of the very best and most dedicated in his field, Dave is known for his meticulous attention to detail and passion for every project — with audiences often treated to a few unexpected touches and moments of theatrical flair in every David Thomson production.
A full Lighting and effects production complete the theatre-style experience of this eagerly anticipated new production.
