In this class, we will utilize natural soy and/or beeswax to create resisted areas on fabric with the tjap stamps and a fructose-based indigo vat for dye.  We will discuss surface design, how to create your own indigo vat, and the culture of batik.  We will remove the wax in class so that you can leave with a ready-to-use piece of art on fabric. All materials provided - dress for mess!
