A Meeting of the digestive tract: Somatization and palpation followed by gentle movement in space. What does it feel like to initiate your movement from different parts of the viscera, or from this more parasympathetic space?

Benjamin Cheney will share a short dialogue, somatization, and movement exploration on the process of digestion and integration. This dialogue will revolve around questions of hunger and satisfaction. As the exploration is on April fools we will also broach the topic of what does it mean to fool yourself. What does it feel like to make a gut decision from a place of satisfaction? What does it feel like to make a gut decision from a place of hunger? Does one of these options feel more resonant for you? Do you feel like you are able to fool yourself into hunger or satisfaction? The somatization will focus on meeting the stomach, duodenum, pancreas, and gall bladder. After we connect with these structures we will explore how it feels to move through space from this place.

Gather at 5:30pm, dinner at 6pm, somatization from approximately 7-8pm.
