What Is an Installation?

An Installation is the formal covenant among a pastor, a congregation, and the wider United Church of Christ. It marks not a beginning, but a celebration of a ministry already underway. In this act, pastor and people promise to share in Christ’s ministry of love, justice, and renewal—to listen deeply, serve faithfully, and grow together in grace.

We are delighted to announce that Pastor Kevin’s official Installation Ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at South Congregational Church, followed by a reception.

This special service marks an important milestone in Pastor Kevin’s ministry and for South Church. We hope you will join us for this exciting and joyful occasion!
