Overdoses continue to affect every community, but they can be prevented with awareness and education. This training will provide information on what an opioid is, types of opioids, what an overdose is, how to identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, how to administer Naloxone (Narcan) during an overdose, and more. You never know when you may need to use these skills to save a life! 

This training is FREE! All participants will receive a free Narcan kit. 

Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged. Register ahead by calling the Health Department at (860) 291-7324 or filling out the online registration form here: tinyurl.com/35djv9uc
