This fall walk will check out the late season prairie flora, as well as explore restoration works being done on site to restore the original prairie. This is the prairie where botanist John Goldie first collected and described the Prairie Buttercup (Ranunculus rhomboides) in 1819, amongst other interesting plant species. We will focus on grasses, asters, and goldenrods, and observe the results of restoration activities.
