Adopt-a-Highway Trash Pickup — Friends of East Flat Rock

Please join us Saturday, December 13 at 8:30 am for our quarterly Adopt-A-Highway trash pickup along our Highway 176 corridor to keep one of the main gateways into Hendersonville clean.

As part of NCDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway program, Friends of East Flat Rock has adopted the 2-mile section of Spartanburg Highway (US Hwy 176) from the intersection of East/West King Street to the US 25 connector.

We will meet near the Adopt-A-Highway sign under the bridge at the 25 connector on 176/Spartanburg Highway (exit 7) at 8:30 am and work no later than 10:30 AM (we're usually finished before noon).

ℹ️ Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and children 12-17 must be supervised by an adult who is at least 21 years old. NCDOT provides participants safety training, safety vests and trash bags.
