Let’s stand together to support one of our own, Jace Martinez, a lively and resilient 14-year-old Dubuque native who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Nodular Predominant Lymphocyte Hodgkin Lymphoma (NPLHL) — an incredibly rare type of Hodgkin Lymphoma. Less than 100 children are diagnosed with NPLHL each year in the United States. Jace’s cancer has spread to his abdomen, spleen, pelvis, spine and bones, requiring intense treatment and specialized care.
To help ease the financial burden on Jace’s family and provide the support they need during this overwhelming time, we are organizing a Cancer Benefit for Jace. All proceeds from this event will go directly to Jace’s family for expenses related to his cancer treatment and essential support for his family as they navigate this journey.
The Cancer Benefit for Jace will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 11am to 6pm at Culbie’s Event Center in East Dubuque, Illinois.
