Emerging Waves is a space held by a 5Rhythms® Teacher in Training. In this 5Rhythms class, you are invited to move through the 5Rhythms with simple guidance, giving space for your personal expression. Music becomes the teacher alongside the  Teacher in Training, supporting your movement practice through the Waves map of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness.

Rooted in the teachings of Gabrielle Roth, 5Rhythms® is practiced by tens of thousands of people around the world. It is a movement meditation, a creative path, and a philosophy grounded in the belief that when we move, we heal. Movement becomes both medicine and metaphor—opening space for personal insight, and embodied presence.

This practice welcomes every body, every culture, every age, and every level of experience. Wherever the 5Rhythms are danced, a community forms—one that moves together , sweats together , grows together, and supports one another’s freedom and authenticity. Here we meet ourselves and each other with curiosity, kindness, and the courage to be real.

I believe that movement is a birthright and that our dance floor is at its strongest when it is diverse and accessible. To honor the financial realities of our community while sustaining the costs of the venue and facilitation, I am offering Sliding Scale Pricing for our upcoming classes.

Please choose the tier that most honestly reflects your financial landscape:
Supporter Tier ($30): Choose this if you have stable housing, expendable income for travel/dining, and want to directly subsidize a spot for someone else. Your generosity helps our community thrive.
Sustainer Tier ($25): This is the "true cost" of the class. Choose this if you can meet your basic needs comfortably.
Supported Tier ($15): Choose this if you have limited expendable income or are currently navigating financial hardship. We want you on the dance floor with us!

No Questions Asked: I trust your discernment of your own situation. Simply select the ticket level that fits you best at registration. To balance costs, supported tier has limited availability and preregistration is strongly encouraged.

Here are our agreements, thank you for respecting the practice, yours and others' experience:

Doors open at 6:45, plan ahead to arrive on time.
Wear comfortable clothes to allow movement, we typically move in bare feet.  If you require shoes, no street shoes in the dance space (bring a pair to change into, thank you).
Sober space, no intoxicants.
Talking and other sound take us out of our embodiment, no outside instruments or conversation.  If you are in need of support, find a volunteer or see Katy.
Phones should be off or silenced, no photography in the dance space.
