If you are driving and can offer a spot in your car, please get in touch by email! I will message a few days before the hike to communicate whether any car spots are available.THE HIKE AND TERRAINA mix of paved roads and dirt paths that can be rocky and overgrown. The route includes a steep set of steps to get down from the top of the aqueduct at Lin’s Mill as well as a stretch on a road.AMENITIESThere are cafes and shops in East Calder. Public toilets are available in the Almondel Country Park Visitor Centre that we’ll pass in the beginning of the walk.WHAT TO BRING?Bring lunch, snacks and plenty of water. The Scottish weather is unreliable so rain clothes and layers are recommended as always. Good walking shoes are sufficient for this walk.JUPITER ARTLANDIf you wish, you can join us for a trip to the Christmas Market at Jupiter Artland after the walk.
