Kick-a-thon for Telethon

Taj has decided he would like to do a fundraiser for telethon. He Is going to do a kickathon on the 16th of August.

Taj had a very rough start in life, he caught strep B as a new born we were rushed to PMH less then 24hrs of Taj being born. He spent his first week of life in ICU at PMH getting the all clear after a week. To only 3 months later strep B turned into meningitis. Taj unfortunate suffered a stroke during the flight on the RFD to PMH which caused brain damage, once again put into ICU having 37 seizure’s in 24 hours.

His drip in his hip formed a blood clot which has caused (in basic terms) his larger vein to shut down in his Left Leg, but amazingly his smaller veins took on the extra blood flow. He was in hospital for over 3mths then regular appointsments everyday twice day for a couple of weeks and then every 3mths to 6mths to yearly, we were told then that it will be unlikely that Taj will walk or talk due to the brain damage and that I will need to prepare my self.

Taj clearly didn’t get that note, he was walking by 9 months old, Riding a bike with no trainings wheels by 2 and has not stopped kicking goals since! He still has his hurdles as recently been informed he will need surgery on the vein that has the blood clot from when he was a baby, we are getting through but he won’t let that hold him back.
