We will discuss the volunteer educator role and practice with hands-on outdoor activities. All are welcome to attend - there is no commitment required to return as a volunteer after this session. 

Volunteer educators help us reach thousands of students each year on their field trips to the Genesee County Parks. They assist with program set up and supply organization, co-lead or lead activities, and more!

New volunteers are encouraged to attend. No experience is necessary, all interests and abilities are welcome! Whether you are a nature-lover, birder, teacher, trail-hiker, or gardener; your skills and time can help to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards in Genesee County!
