This practice is excellent for students looking to build on their foundational understanding of Watercolor in planning, composing, and identifying the importance of strong values and shadows to create contrast and a preliminary sketch of landscapes with color.   



Our focus will be on capturing the essence of our subject with a quick gestural sketch, building the base of our shapes with our brush, and delicate finishing details to bring our topic to life. Students will work with warm-up exercises for everyday watercolor practice and work toward a completed piece!
