- **Event Description**: Join us on December 13 for a two part workshop. We’ll start with a woods walk with county forester, Tessa McGann and consulting forester Kathy Beland, where we’ll learn about different conifers growing on the property and different tricks for identifying them.

We’ll follow that walk by gathering in the conference barn at Smokey House to learn how to design and construct an evergreen holiday wreath with VWA staff member, Catie Raishart. There will be holiday cookies, good cheer and plenty of conversation. 

Come dressed for the weather, feel free to bring naturally foraged elements to incorporate into your wreath (milkweed pods, dried flowers, etc) and hand pruners if you have them. Also bring a dozen of your favorite holiday cookies for a cookie exchange!

Fee: $25, participants will leave with their own wreath approximately 20 inches in diameter.
