- **Event Description**: As 2025 begins, one wonders what is going to happen next. Just what will take place that shapes our world now, and in the future. Is it the willful destruction of the environment? Unregulated businesses and corporations? Politicians who are only in it for themselves? Conspiracy theories being true? An alien invasion? Or any number of other incidents that could possibly reverberate for generations to come.

Whatever this may be, and however you choose to put these situations into artworks, is what we want to see for the next DAVe show, "The Sum Of All Fears." This show will take place at Harbor Works in East Chicago, a gallery owned and operated by Thomas Frank.

Artists are encouraged to submit up to 3 images to be juried into this show. This show is slightly different from other DAVe shows. We are asking every artist who submits to summarize their submission(s) in a one or two sentence description of how you brought forth your fears in your creations. This doesn't have to be a deep, philosophical diatribe, just a description of how the artwork is sculpted by your interpretation. Only current DAVe members are allowed to submit (artists can pay dues via the website, or by attending a monthly meeting).

Notification Date:  around February 21, 2025
Art Delivery and Install: Delivery dates TBD 
Install is March 2nd.
Show Opens: Reception March 8th from 6-10pm.
Exhibit closing and Art Pickup: Date TBD (we will email you when we know)
