- the swampy area next to an old branch of the Rhine; 
- the Rheinauen – the Rhine floodplains – where the banks of the Rhine are allowed to overflow; 
- the Streuobstwiesen – meadows with fruit trees. 

If we are lucky, coffee and cake at the camp site next to the Rhine about halfway through.

Meeting point: opposite Dunkin’ Donuts at the back of the station. Time: 13:25. 
Departure at 13:40 with the RE1 in the direction of Aachen from platform 16. 
Arrive at Benrath S-Bahn at 13.45. 
Then we take the 788 bus from bus stop 5 towards Joseph-Kürten-Platz at 13:56. 
Arrive at Tübinger Straße at 14.02.
Tickets: price zone A there and back.
Tip: Bring a snack and enough to drink. And a sun hat if it’s sunny, as we won’t be going through woods.
