Pitcher ist Kult – solche Clubs müssen unterstützt und am Leben erhalten werden. Bereits mehrfach
waren ONE OF THESE mit ihrer kleinen Early Years Besetzung im Pitcher – und 2024 auch mit der
großen 10-köpfigen Band. Und 2026 kommen ONE OF THESE wieder mit der großen Band auf die kleine
Bühne. Kuschelig wird es - aber nicht im thematischen Sinne.
Pink Floyd waren schon immer auch mit sozialkritischen Themen unterwegs – doch mit Ihrem Album
Animals brachte die Band Ihre Sicht auf die Gesellschaft so klar wie nie zuvor zum Ausdruck. Heute, 50
Jahre nach den Aufnahmen des im Januar 1977 erschienenen Albums, sind die Themen des Albums
leider aktueller denn je.
ONE OF THESE ist eine Band, die sich immer für einen respektvollen Umgang miteinander einsetzt und
diesen auch innerhalb der Band lebt. Vor dem Hintergrund der derzeitigen sozialen und politischen
Entwicklung nicht nur in Deutschland ist es daher folgerichtig, dass die Band ihre nächste Tour diesem
Album widmet.
ONE OF THESE war in den letzten Jahren mit The Wall, der Dark Side, mit der Division Bell Tour und
der Wish You Were Here in sieben Bundesländern sowie in Österreich unterwegs. Mit der Animals Tour
komplettiert die Band ihre Tourneen zu den großen Pink Floyd Alben.
Im ersten Teil des Konzertes werden Highlights aus dem Pink Floyd Katalog gespielt – dabei auch ein
ganz besonderer Leckerbissen für alle Pink Floyd Kenner.
ONE OF THESE begeistert mit der Liebe zur Musik von Pink Floyd bis hin zu den kleinen Details. Die
Band spielt die Musik von Pink Floyd mit einer musikalischen Hingabe, die man bei jedem Ton sieht
und hört. Jedes Konzert ist für die Band ein Fest, auf dem die Musik von Pink Floyd gefeiert wird, aber
eben auch das gemeinsame Erlebnis, diese wunderbare Musik zusammen mit dem Publikum teilen
und genießen zu dürfen. Und das merkt man von der ersten Note bis zum Meet and Greet nach dem
Konzert.
ONE OF THESE gilt hierzulande als die vielseitigste Pink Floyd Tribute Band, die die Musik der britischen
Band in verschiedensten interessanten Facetten präsentiert. Mit der Tribute-Besetzung werden
komplette Alben gespielt (Dark Side The Moon / Wish You Were Here / Animals / The Wall), und es
gibt ein History-Programm. Daneben gibt es ein Unplugged-Programm mit einer um Streicher,
Klarinette und Percussion erweiterten Besetzung sowie ein Programm mit komplettem Orchester.
Unter dem Zusatz Early Years spielt die Band in reduzierter Besetzung die frühen Floyd vor dem großen
Erfolg mit der Dark Side Of The Moon, aktuell werden die Musik des Konzertfilms „Live At Pompeii“
sowie das komplette Album „Meddle“ gespielt.
